2.03 Use the property of a client or employer only in ways properly authorized, and with the client’s or employer’s knowledge and consent.

We needed to ask questions from school students and teachers to get understand about their IT knowledge. To get to know about the what they know and what they don't know. For that we selected the  M/R Kirinda Puhulwella Vidyalaya  school students and teachers.

We choose media room of that school.

While were doing this we had to use some of school students and teachers time.

Before we use this, first we met the regional education director to discuss in order to this matter. The facts we needed to verify are whether this is legal or not, ethical or not and so on. Specially how far it is feasible to use the media room of school in school time and get the participation of school students in school time.

After considering the facts he gave us the permission after discussing with the principal of particular school. Then we went to school and talked with relevant  teachers. They gave us a time table in which available free time slots.(time slots that they have no classes). We discuss with them and get understand about ICT syllabus. 

We invited from principal to appoint some responsible person to observe us while we are discuss with school students. Without that person we didn’t do any activity because it can make some ethical problems.
